JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College observed its annual Foundation Day, maintaining its tradition of organizing various competitions for students. On Wednesday, the first session saw an essay competition with 54 participants discussing “Changing Landscape of Jamshedpur through Karim’s Trust Educational Contributions.”

In the second session, a lively debate unfolded with 14 students engaging on the topic “Mixed Education is Suitable for Indian Education.” Both events were conducted in Hindi, Urdu, English, and Bengali, with separate winners selected for each language.

Distinguished Panel of Judges

The competitions were evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges, including Dr. Iftikhar Nabi, Dr. Shahbaz Ansari, Dr. Basudhara Rai, Dr. Neha Tiwari, Dr. Om Prakash Singh Dev, Dr. S.C. Gupta, and Dr. Sandhya Sinha. Their collective expertise ensured fair and insightful judgment.

Winners to be Honored

The college announced that all winners of the essay and debate contests will be felicitated during the Foundation Day assembly. Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, addressing the event, emphasized, “Competitions like these bring out the hidden talents of our students.”

Upcoming Events

The program concluded with Dr. Yahya Ibrahim, the convener, announcing the winners and extending gratitude to participants and judges. He also invited everyone to attend the ghazal competition scheduled for the following day.
