Massive Traffic Jam Paralyzes Mango Area for Over 4 Hours
Kalash Shobha Yatra triggers gridlock, affecting schools and commuters
A severe traffic jam in Mango on Monday caused extensive disruption, leaving people stranded for hours and bringing normal life to a standstill.
JAMSHEDPUR – A massive traffic jam paralyzed the Mango area of Jamshedpur on Monday, causing widespread disruption and frustration among commuters for over four hours.
The gridlock extended from Mango Bridge to Payal Cinema, creating chaos on all major roads and intersections.
Long queues of vehicles stretched across the affected areas, making movement nearly impossible for both motorists and pedestrians.
The jam impacted the Mango roundabout, bus stand, Dimna Road, and numerous smaller streets in the vicinity.
Parents faced significant delays while taking their children to school, resulting in many students arriving late.
The Kalash Shobha Yatra, held on the fourth Monday of Sawan, triggered the traffic congestion.
Initially, traffic police struggled to manage the situation effectively.
Vehicles were stuck haphazardly on the roads, further complicating navigation for pedestrians.
Upon receiving reports of the severe jam, the traffic DSP arrived with his team to address the situation.
Their efforts eventually succeeded in clearing the congestion and restoring traffic flow.
The jam lasted from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, causing considerable inconvenience to thousands of commuters.
This incident highlights the need for better traffic management strategies during religious events and processions in the area.
