PM Modi to Inaugurate Two Vande Bharat Trains in Jamshedpur on September 15

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jamshedpur on September 15, where he will inaugurate two new Vande Bharat Express trains.
JAMSHEDPUR – In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jamshedpur on September 15, preparations are in full swing for the inauguration of two new Vande Bharat Express trains.
Currently, the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express passes through Tatanagar Railway Station.
It is expected that the new trains, one from Tatanagar to Patna and another from Tatanagar to Odisha, will be flagged off by the Prime Minister during his visit.
To ensure everything is in place, South Eastern Railway’s General Manager, Anil Kumar Mishra, visited Tatanagar Railway Station to inspect the arrangements.
He reviewed the station’s facilities, including the platforms and surrounding areas, and provided several directives to the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Assistant Railway Manager (ARM), and other railway officials.
Speaking about the visit, Mishra mentioned that while official confirmation of the Prime Minister’s itinerary is still pending, preparations are being made to be ready on short notice.
He also noted that redevelopment work at the station will commence soon, with plans to increase the number of platforms from five to eight.
Additionally, Mishra emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance security measures at the station.
The visit underscores the importance of Tatanagar Railway Station within the South Eastern Railway network.
