735th Eye Camp Concludes at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya
Patients discharged after final check-up; next camp scheduled from September 7-9 in memory of Pramod Kumar Bajaj.
The 735th eye camp organized in memory of Murli Devi-Ramanand Ji Dhoot concluded today with the discharge of eye patients.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 735th eye camp at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya, organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, in collaboration with Chimanlal Bhalotia Seva Sansthan, Rajasthan Seva Sadan, and the District Rural Health Committee, concluded with the final check-up and discharge of patients.
Renowned ophthalmologists Dr. B.P. Singh, Dr. Rashi Verma, and their medical team conducted the final examination after removing the bandages from the patients’ eyes.
Following this, Mrs. Santosh Dhoot from the Dhoot family, the camp coordinators, provided glasses and gifts to the patients.
The event was attended by Balamukund Goyal, President of Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya, Vijay Kumar Singh, Honorary Secretary of the Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, and other dignitaries including Rakesh Mishra, Harsh Goyal, Ashish Singh, and Shyam Kumar.
Vijay Kumar Singh, who coordinated the camp, announced that the 736th eye camp will be held from September 7-9 in memory of social worker Pramod Kumar Bajaj.
Additionally, on September 3, in association with LIC’s 68th anniversary, a health camp will be organized at Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan in Bagbera, focusing on awareness about mosquito-borne diseases and cleanliness.
