Following Champai Soren’s move to BJP, JMM is re-strategizing, focusing on Seraikela.
SERAIKELA – JMM has begun revamping its strategy in Seraikela after Champai Soren’s shift to the BJP.
Krishna Baske, a former disciple of Soren, has been fielded by JMM in the Seraikela constituency.
Although most of Soren’s supporters have joined the BJP, no prominent BJP leaders have openly supported him yet.
On Monday, Baske visited Rajnagar Block, where he met with dedicated party workers and senior leaders to boost their morale.
He emphasized the importance of uniting with both senior leaders and young members to prepare for the upcoming assembly elections.
Baske initiated his campaign by garlanding the statue of martyrs Sido and Kanhu in Rajnagar.
Rajnagar Block President Lalu Hansda expressed optimism, stating, "We will begin a new chapter and prepare a new tiger."
Hansda acknowledged the disappointment over Soren’s departure but emphasized that the party’s grassroots workers remain resilient.
He assured that the party is determined to rebuild its organization from the ground up.
