Gulmohur High School Celebrates 70th Anniversary with ‘Horizon’
Interschool event showcases talent from 25 schools, honors educational legacy
Jamshedpur’s Gulmohur High School marked 70 years of educational excellence with a grand interschool event called ‘Horizon’.
JAMSHEDPUR – Gulmohur High School commemorated its 70th anniversary with ‘Horizon’, an interschool event featuring students from 25 schools across Jamshedpur.
The celebration showcased a diverse range of activities highlighting creativity and academic pursuits.
"The Jungle Jamboree," "Friendship Fiesta," and "Nature’s Narrative" were among the engaging events organized.
Students participated in "Dreamscape," "Radio Rhapsody," "Scholastic Spotlight," and "Rangoli Razzmatazz."
A standout performance was the "Orchestra – A 70’s Fusion Fiesta," blending classic and modern music.
Dr. Deepali Misra, an education consultant, and Ankur Gandotra, Head of TQM, Jamshedpur, graced the event as chief guests.
The program began with a traditional ‘Safety Pause’ and lamp lighting ceremony.
"Horizon Harmony," a dynamic dance performance, kicked off the festivities.
Students presented "Gulmohur Saga," a dance drama depicting the school’s 70-year journey, which received a standing ovation.
"70 Years of Unfading Beauty," a choral recitation, paid tribute to the school’s enduring values and legacy.
The chief guests delivered inspiring speeches, sharing insights that deeply impacted the students.
Loyola School, Telco, emerged as the champion, securing the trophy for their outstanding performances.
Principal Priti Sinha and Vice Principal Archana Srivastava’s leadership was crucial to the event’s success.
Process owners Madhuchanda Sarkar, Minky Ojha, Justina Adhikari, Harita, and the entire faculty contributed significantly to the celebration.
