District Election Officer Inspects EVM FLC Process and Warehouse

District Election Officer Ananya Mittal inspected the EVM warehouse and the First Level Checking process of EVMs and VVPATs in Jamshedpur’s Kitadih Panchayat.
JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Ananya Mittal reviewed the EVM FLC process and inspected the EVM warehouse, giving key instructions to officials.
As per the Election Commission of India’s guidelines, First Level Checking (FLC) of EVMs and VVPATs is being conducted in the district.
Ananya Mittal visited the EVM warehouse located in Kitadih Panchayat under Jamshedpur Sadar block to observe the FLC process.
He engaged with the engineers conducting the FLC, discussing details related to the EVMs and VVPATs.
During his visit, Mittal also conducted a thorough inspection of the EVM warehouse and provided necessary guidelines.
He closely examined the security arrangements, including CCTV cameras, cleanliness, and other facilities.
Mittal instructed the officials to ensure that the warehouse security is robust and that all CCTV cameras remain operational.
He emphasized that there should be no negligence in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
During the inspection, Mittal obtained detailed information from the concerned officials about the warehouse’s security measures, fire extinguishers, and CCTV systems.
He directed the officials to strictly adhere to all the security standards prescribed by the Election Commission of India for the warehouse.
Mittal also visited the CCTV control room to conduct an in-depth review of the CCTV recordings.
He gave further instructions to maintain cleanliness and enhance security measures at the EVM warehouse.
Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh was also present during the inspection.
