Ex-MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar’s Jankalyan Rath Benefits Over 1200 People in Jamshedpur

Dr. Ajoy Kumar’s initiative brings welfare schemes to the doorsteps of Jamshedpur residents, helping them access various government benefits.

The Jankalyan Rath (vehicle) was launched by former MP and senior Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar on July 9 at Baridih Chowk. The purpose of this initiative is to provide information about state government welfare schemes and help residents avail these benefits.

JAMSHEDPUR – Former MP and senior Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar launched the Jankalyan Rath on July 9 to inform Jamshedpur residents about state government welfare schemes and assist them in applying for these benefits.

Objectives and Outreach

The Jankalyan Rath travels to different areas of Jamshedpur, offering information on various government schemes such as old age pensions, widow pensions, ration cards, Ayushman cards, Aadhaar cards, and the Bahu Beti Yojana of the Jharkhand government.

It also helps people fill out online applications related to these schemes.

Benefits Delivered

In the past 15 days, 1241 people have benefited from the Jankalyan Rath.

Among them, 363 people have applied for various pension schemes, 407 families have obtained ration cards, and 471 people have received Ayushman cards.

Gratitude from Beneficiaries

Bharti Sarkar, a 60-year-old resident of Birsanagar Zone No. 8, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Ajoy Kumar. She said, "I was struggling to apply for the old age pension. The Jankalyan Rath came to my home and helped me fill out the application. I am thankful to Dr. Ajoy Kumar."

Similarly, Shyam, a 62-year-old resident of M Type in Baridih, shared his experience. "I was facing difficulties in getting an Ayushman card. The Jankalyan Rath not only helped me with the Ayushman card but also assisted in applying for the old age pension. I am very grateful to Dr. Ajoy Kumar," he said.
