Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy unveils boundary wall for tribal community space in Birsanagar.

Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy inaugurated a boundary wall built at Jahira-cum-Akhra in Birsanagar, funded by the Welfare Department.

JAMSHEDPUR – Saryu Roy, MLA of Jamshedpur East, inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of Jahira-cum-Akhra in Birsanagar’s Zone No. 6 on Sunday, funded by the Welfare Department at a cost of ₹14.5 lakhs.

During the inauguration, MLA Saryu Roy expressed his commitment to addressing the issues brought to him, regardless of the community involved.

He stated, "It is a pleasure for me to inaugurate the boundary wall for the tribal community’s Jahira-cum-Akhra. I am satisfied that this area has now been secured."

The event saw the presence of prominent figures such as Central President of the Oraon Society, Sanchu Tirkey, former Municipal Councillor Goma Minz, District President of BJP’s Scheduled Tribe Morcha, Prakash Koya, and M. Chandrasekhar Rao, among others.

The inauguration marked a significant step in supporting the needs of the local tribal community, ensuring the protection and preservation of their cultural spaces.

The project reflects the ongoing efforts to address and resolve issues pertinent to various communities in the region.
