Jamshedpur women’s group Samriddhi organizes handicraft exhibition to aid poor children and elderly.

JAMSHEDPUR – A two-day Pre-Durga Puja fair and handicraft exhibition, organized by women’s group Samriddhi, is being held at Telco Sabuj Kalyan Sangh on August 17th and 18th.

The event aims to support poor children and the elderly at local old age homes.

Samriddhi organizers emphasized the fair’s role in fostering entrepreneurship among women.

Visitors can explore a diverse range of handmade products at the exhibition.

The showcase features attractive rakhis, sarees, and kurtis crafted by local artisans.

Handmade and customized jewelry will be available for purchase at the fair.

Leather bags and home decor items are among the products on display.

The exhibition highlights handloom and handicraft products from both Jamshedpur and Kolkata.

All items at the fair are crafted by local women, promoting community-based entrepreneurship.

Sharmishtha Nag, Sandeepa Dutta, Ratna Patra, and Dolon Sengupta are key organizers of the event.
