Jamshedpur Zonal Handball Team Selection Trials Conclude at Church School

Under-14, 17, and 19 teams selected for the regional championship; Vibhuti Adesara and Hasan Imam Malik graced the closing ceremony.

The two-day CISCE Jamshedpur Zonal handball selection trials at Church School, Beldih, concluded on Tuesday.

JAMSHEDPUR – The selection trials for the CISCE Jamshedpur Zonal handball teams concluded at Church School, Beldih, on Tuesday.

The closing ceremony was graced by Vibhuti Adesara, Head of Tata Steel’s Sports Department, as the chief guest.

International handball coach Hasan Imam Malik was the guest of honor and encouraged the participants with his speech.

School Secretary Avinash Kumar Das, Treasurer Deepak Das, and other dignitaries were also present.

Vice Principal Esther Mohanty delivered the welcome speech, while Sunemi Durge offered a vote of thanks.

The event was successfully organized under the supervision of sports teacher Ashfaq Ahmed.

A total of 400 players from 17 schools participated in the trials.

Based on their performances, Jamshedpur’s Under-14, 17, and 19 boys’ teams were selected.

These teams will now compete in the regional championship.

– **Under-14 Boys:** Vansh Poddar, Saqib Alam, Vijay Singh Biruli, Aditya Kumar Shukla, Kritansh Sonkar, Mo Faizan Akhtar, Selves Ter Patro, Prateek Kumar Shah, Devanshu Das, Sunny Giri, Ayush Kumar, Reyan Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Adnan Ali, Bhupesh Mahato, Hasir Baksh Satyam Mahato.

– **Under-17 Boys:** Ankit Dutta, Mo Afanuddin Niyaz, Dharmal Mardi, Jaskaran Singh, Prince Rajak, Ashish Bakhla, Harshit Kumar Mukhi, Devbrat Dhal, Raunak Kumar, Durga Devgam, Amit Kumar Gupta, Veer Yadav, Rachit Kumar, Sarthak Tiwari, Arjun Kumar Yadav, Aditya Bhatt.
