JAMSHEDPUR – Gulmohur High School, in collaboration with the Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP), organized a seminar on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) implementation at the Tata Auditorium.
The event brought together 39 educators from 14 schools across Jamshedpur, demonstrating a shared commitment to improving educational standards.
Priti Sinha of Gulmohur High School and Ishita Dey of Tarapore School co-convened the seminar, which covered various aspects of FLN implementation.
Topics discussed included recent research findings, teacher training initiatives, and integration of arts and sports into the curriculum.
The seminar also addressed the development of activity areas, technology-driven approaches, and innovative teaching aids.
Participants explored rubrics-based assessments and community engagement strategies to enhance FLN practices.
Gulmohur High School showcased its three-year journey in aligning FLN practices with the National Education Policy (NEP).
An exhibition featuring seven Activity Areas and NEP-aligned workbooks developed by the school complemented the seminar discussions.
