Seraikela to Launch Hotel Guest Verification System

First-of-its-kind software in Jharkhand to enhance security and streamline processes

Kolhan DIG and Seraikela SP to inaugurate innovative Hotel Guest Verification System, developed by NIC Jharkhand, on August 12 at Hotel Cruze.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kolhan DIG Manoj Ratan Chote and Seraikela SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat will inaugurate a pioneering Hotel Guest Verification System on August 12 at Hotel Cruze in Seraikela.

The new system, developed by State NIC Jharkhand, aims to streamline law enforcement processes and enhance security in the hospitality sector.

This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association (JHRA) and the Seraikela District Police.

The software allows hotels, local police stations, and district police to seamlessly upload and access guest information.

JHRA President Ravish Ranjan emphasized that the system will provide a hassle-free experience for hotel operators while contributing to public safety.

Joint Director of NIC, Kishore Prasad, highlighted the software’s importance in simplifying hotel operations and bolstering security measures.

The previous verification process was noted for its complexity and inefficiency, hindering effective monitoring of potential criminal activities.

Dr. Piyush Gupta, Ex SIO Director, guided the development of this specialized software solution.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by prominent officials, including Dipak Kumar, Senior Director cum SIO, and Prashant Kumar Sinha, Deputy Director (IT) NIC, Ranchi.

Rituraj Priyadarshi, DIO Seraikela Kharsawan, will also be present at the launch event.

The appointment of a Tourism Police Nodal Officer was announced, underscoring the district’s commitment to ensuring tourist safety.

This innovative system is the first of its kind in Jharkhand, with potential for broader application across the state.

An official stated that the launch represents a forward-thinking approach to law enforcement in the region.

The initiative signals a commitment to leveraging technology for improved public safety and streamlined administrative processes.
