Ranchi: After a brief lull for a week or so, a surge in the coronavirus pandemic is again visible in the state as the number of deaths too has climbed up to 5 on Tuesday. Till date, 910 persons have lost their lives to the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
According to official data, on Tuesday, 252 new cases were detected. On the other hand, 456 patients were also declared cured and were discharged from different hospitals of the state. 5 persons succumbed to the pandemic.
Till Tuesday evening, the state had tested a total of 36,87,269 samples. Out of these, 1,04,940 samples have come out as positive.
For now, the state has 4,042 active cases of coronavirus pandemic. 99,988 persons have been cured and discharged in the state till now, while 910 persons have lost their lives.
