The Gau Seva Commission took a stern stance after the August 6 accident at Tatanagar Gaushala, where the collapse of a roof near a construction site led to the death of three pregnant cows. The commission has demanded a response from the management within 7 days.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Gau Seva Commission has expressed its strong displeasure with the management of Tatanagar Gaushala following a tragic incident on August 6, where three pregnant cows died and one was seriously injured due to the collapse of a roof near a construction site.
Commission Chairman Rajiv Singh, along with Vice Chairman Raju Giri, visited the Gaushala to inspect the site and assess the situation.
During the visit, the commission discovered several irregularities and immediately reprimanded the Gaushala management for their negligence.

The commission’s representatives were particularly incensed by the apparent disregard for safety standards during the ongoing construction work.
Chairman Rajiv Singh stated that the construction work was being carried out in blatant violation of the commission’s regulations, exposing the management’s carelessness.
He added that the information provided by the committee was misleading and that the commission is taking the matter seriously.
A notice has been issued to the Gaushala management, demanding a response within 7 days.
Singh warned that if the commission is not satisfied with the response, strict action will be taken against those responsible.
The commission also rejected any attempts by the Gaushala management to welcome or appease them, emphasizing their focus on addressing the negligence that led to this tragic incident.
