Srinath University Welcomes New Students with ‘Shankhnaad 2024’
Annual orientation features distinguished guests, cultural events, and campus tours
Srinath University kicked off the 2024-2025 academic year with ‘Srinath Shankhnaad 2024’, introducing freshmen to university life.
JAMSHEDPUR – Srinath University launched its academic year with ‘Srinath Shankhnaad 2024’, an annual orientation program held at XLRI’s Tata Auditorium.
The event featured a mix of cultural performances, social events, and informational sessions designed to acclimate new students to university life.
Ananya Mittal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, served as the Chief Guest, encouraging students to view education as a journey of discovery.
Ujjal Chakraborti, Managing Director of JCAPCPL, welcomed new students and highlighted the university’s role in shaping their future.
The program saw the launch of Srinath University’s magazine, ‘Sri Vaani’, adding a new dimension to the institution’s academic offerings.
Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato provided an overview of the university’s courses and future prospects to the incoming students.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.N Singh emphasized the institution’s commitment to excellent education and the importance of extracurricular activities.
New students were given guided tours of academic and recreational facilities to help them familiarize themselves with the campus.
Founders Shambhu Mahato and Sandhya Mahato, along with other university officials, inaugurated the program by lighting the traditional lamp.
The orientation program marks the beginning of a new academic journey for the freshmen, setting the stage for their future growth and development at Srinath University.
