TRF Holds First Navjeevan Blood Donation Camp, Collects 222 Units

TRF Ladies Association Leads Successful Event With Jamshedpur Blood Centre

JAMSHEDPUR – TRF Limited employees and stakeholders participated actively in the first edition of biannual blood donation camp ‘Navjeevan’, organized on September 11, 2025.

The camp was held on the company premises and managed by TRF Ladies Association (TRFLA) in collaboration with Jamshedpur Blood Centre and Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association (VBDA). In total, 222 units of blood were donated.

Donors included employees of TRF Limited, members of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, TRFLA members, and other stakeholders. Organizers noted that the large turnout ensured the program’s success.

The event was inaugurated by TRF Managing Director Umesh Kumar Singh, CFO Anand Chand, CHRO Abhijeet Singh, Labour Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Anjani Kumar, and TRFLA member Shweta Gupta. Senior executives of TRF, union representatives, and TRFLA members also attended.

During the inauguration, Dr. Nirjala Jha from Jamshedpur Blood Centre stressed the importance of voluntary blood donation. Meanwhile, Shweta Gupta welcomed the gathering and urged continued participation in this noble initiative.
