JAMSHEDPUR – Starting August 10, Gita Theatre in Jamshedpur will begin offering free acting classes to nurture local talent.

Seeing the increasing interest in acting among Jamshedpur residents, Gita Theatre aims to provide a platform for those passionate about acting.

No registration fee will be charged for these classes.

Addressing Exploitative Practices

Many institutions in Jamshedpur charge hidden fees for acting courses without providing real opportunities.

Gita Theatre was established to counter these practices and create a nurturing environment for the arts.

Theatre founders Gita Kumari and Prem Dixit emphasize their commitment to making acting education accessible.

Free Acting Classes Details

Classes will be held thrice a week on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

Youth will be prioritized, but anyone with a passion for acting is welcome.

Participants will be trained in acting and connected to job opportunities through theatre performances.

Gita Theatre will offer participants the chance to showcase their talents in national theatre festivals and upcoming short films.
