Jamshedpur’s temples bustled with activity as devotees celebrated the third Monday of Saawan, a month dedicated to Lord Shiva.

JAMSHEDPUR – Temples across Jamshedpur saw a surge of devotees on the third Monday of Saawan, as worshippers gathered to honor Lord Shiva.

The spiritual energy in Jamshedpur reached a crescendo as devotees flocked to temples in Bistupur, Sakchi, Kadma, and Jugsalai.

Devotional songs and the ringing of bells filled the air from dawn.

Worshippers, dressed in traditional garments, patiently waited to offer prayers.

The scent of incense and flowers permeated the atmosphere, adding to the spiritual ambiance.

Beldih Kalibari temple in Bistupur drew large crowds of devotees.

Visitors brought offerings such as milk and sacred leaves for the ‘Abhishek’ ritual.

Priests in saffron attire led the rituals, offering guidance to the devotees.

Meena Kumari, a devoted temple-goer, commented, "The Saawan Mondays are a time of spiritual renewal for us. It’s when we feel closest to Lord Shiva."

Sakchi Shiv Mandir was adorned with vibrant decorations for the occasion.

Special prayer ceremonies were conducted amidst melodious devotional songs.

The temple management efficiently handled the large influx of visitors.

Ravi Shankar, a local resident, shared, "There’s a special joy in coming together as a community to worship. The positive energy is palpable."

Kadma’s Shiv Temple saw devotees performing the ‘Jalabhishek’ ritual.

The serene temple grounds provided a peaceful setting for meditation.

Devotees of all ages were observed in deep prayer and contemplation.

Sunita Rao from Kadma expressed, "Visiting the temple during Saawan brings a sense of peace and purpose to our lives. It’s a cherished tradition in our family."

Jugsalai’s Shiva temple was equally bustling with spiritual activities.

Women devotees created intricate rangoli designs in the temple courtyard.

The distribution of ‘prasad’ was organized to bless all visitors.

Amit Verma, a regular at the Jugsalai temple, remarked, "The atmosphere here during Saawan is truly magical. It’s a time when faith and tradition come alive."
