Third Monday of Shravan to see massive procession from Baridih to Sidhgora temple
Surya Mandir Committee completes preparations for the upcoming Jalaabhishek Yatra on the third Monday of Shravan month.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Surya Mandir Committee of Sidhgora has finalized all arrangements for the grand Jalaabhishek Yatra scheduled for the third Monday of the holy Shravan month.
Committee President Bhupendra Singh and event coordinators Rambabu Tiwari and Rakesh Singh are overseeing the preparations.
The temple premises have been adorned with colorful lights and flowers for the occasion.
Saffron flags and decorative lighting have been installed along the procession route.
Devotees will gather at Bari Dih Hari Mandir ground at 7 AM on Monday to begin the yatra.
A group of 11 priests will perform Vedic rituals with holy Ganga water from Sultanganj at Bhojpur Colony Chhath Ghat.
Thousands of devotees are expected to join the procession to Surya Mandir Shivalaया.
Former CM and Odisha Governor Raghubar Das will participate along with other dignitaries.
The yatra will feature devotional music, attractive tableaux, and flower showers.
Artists from Jamshedpur and outside will present musical performances during the procession.
Youth carrying large saffron flags on horses will lead the procession.
Two ambulances and medical teams at five locations will be deployed for emergencies.
The committee has arranged for water sprinkling along the route and darshan of Dwadash Jyotirlinga at Shankh Maidan.
Mahaprasad distribution counters will be set up at Son Mandap after the Jalaabhishek.
Committee spokesperson Prem Jha appealed for maximum participation from devotees in the yatra.
