JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Traffic Police and Road Safety Team conducted a rigorous campaign against overspeeding throughout June, resulting in notices issued to 18 vehicle owners.
District Transport Officer Dhananjay, Traffic DSP Sanjay Kumar Singh, and the Road Safety Team led the initiative.
Identified vehicle owners must pay fines at the District Transport Office within a week.
Owners are also required to present their vehicle documents for verification.
Interceptor vehicles were deployed at strategic points across the city, NH-33, and State Highways.
The campaign aims to capture images of speeding vehicles and curb dangerous driving.
District Transport Officer Dhananjay emphasized that the campaign will continue.
Ongoing efforts to educate the public about traffic rules are planned.
Continuous awareness campaigns will be organized to promote road safety.
Traffic Police officers, personnel, and Road Safety Team actively participated in the operation.
Road Safety Team Manager Prakash Kumar and team members were involved throughout the campaign.
