Kunal Sarangi Leads Tree Plantation Drive in Chakulya

Former Baharagora MLA Kunal Sarangi led a tree plantation drive in Jaynagar village of Chakulya block, planting 200 teak trees.

JAMSHEDPUR – Former Baharagora MLA Kunal Sarangi spearheaded a tree plantation drive in Jaynagar village, Chakulya block, planting 200 teak trees.

Under the leadership of village head Poonam Mandi and her husband Kanhai Mandi, 200 teak trees were planted in Jaynagar village. The saplings were provided free of cost by Jamshedpur’s Green Man, Hanuman Das Tripathi, and his team.

Environmental Conservation

Kunal Sarangi emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and urged the villagers to plant more trees in their community.

"Our duty is to keep our earth green. Tree plantation is not just an activity but a way to secure our future," Sarangi stated.

Future Plans

Sarangi promised to continue such initiatives and announced the next phase would involve planting 300 fruit-bearing trees.

He assured the villagers of ongoing support for environmental conservation efforts.

The event saw participation from several villagers, including Poonam Mandi, Kanhai Lal Mandi, village head Somai Mandi, Rajiv Ojha, Angad Raj, Vishal Singh, Santosh Tiwari, Sanjay Gowala, Sudhir Gwalla, Nageshwar Mandi, Rishikesh Gwalla, Baodev Mandi, Keser Mani Murmu, Somwari Mandi, Nirso Devi, Jhano Devi, Poma Murmu, Ramlal Mandi, Hudang Gwalla, Prafulla Gwalla, Bharat Gwalla, and Santosh Gwalla.
