Multiple organizations demand justice for Titirbila incident, plan protest march

Over a dozen social and political organizations have called for a Kolhan bandh on July 31st, citing tribal land rights and recent violence against a family in Titirbila village.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Adivasi Chhatra Ekta and other organizations have called for a Kolhan bandh on July 31st to protest recent incidents, including violence against a family in Titirbila village of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

Josai Mardi, chief patron of Adivasi Chhatra Ekta, stated the bandh aims to counter attempts to dispossess tribals of their land.

A torch rally will be held on July 30th in various locations including Jamshedpur, Ghatshila, and Chaibasa.

Over a dozen organizations are supporting the bandh call, including Manki Munda Sangh and Jharkhand Andolankari Manch.

The protesters plan to take to the streets on July 31st to register their dissent.

Key demands include justice for the Titirbila village incident and protection of tribal land rights.

The bandh will cover major areas of the Kolhan region in Jharkhand.

Organizers claim the move is to resist alleged conspiracies to evict tribals from their lands.

Social organizations from various parts of Kolhan are contributing to make the bandh successful.

The protest aims to highlight issues faced by the tribal communities in the region.

Adivasi Ho Samaj Mahasabha and Adivasi Yuva Mahasabha are among the supporting organizations.

The bandh call reflects growing tensions over land rights and tribal welfare in the area.

Protesters plan to organize rallies and demonstrations across Kolhan during the bandh.
