JAMSHEDPUR – BJP members protested against Chief Minister Hemant Soren by burning his effigy at Sakchi Chowk.
BJP district president Sudhanshu Ojha stated that on July 31, BJP MLAs addressed issues of the public and unemployed youth in the assembly.
However, the assembly speaker, acting on the CM’s orders, forcibly confined the BJP MLAs in the assembly hall.
The electricity and water supply to the hall were cut off, and marshals misbehaved with the legislators.
Ojha also mentioned that 19 BJP MLAs were suspended today on the CM’s orders.
Furthermore, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was denied permission to visit Gopinathpur due to the oppressive policies of the Jharkhand government.
The BJP condemned the state government’s actions as oppressive and autocratic.
The effigy burning was a demonstration of the party’s anger and opposition to these tactics.
Ojha declared that the BJP will continue to fight against the government’s suppression and stand up for democratic values.
The event witnessed significant participation from BJP members and local supporters.
The protest highlighted the party’s stance against the current state administration’s alleged authoritarian practices.
BJP leaders vowed to intensify their agitation until their demands are addressed.
