Girl Robbed on LBSM College Road, Jamshedpur
A girl’s purse containing her mobile, ATM card, and cash was snatched by thieves in Karandih under the Parsudih police jurisdiction.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a distressing event on LBSM College Road, Karandih, a girl was robbed of her purse by assailants in a passenger tempo, sparking concerns over safety in the area.
The police are actively investigating the robbery incident reported in the Parsudih police station area, where a complaint has been filed against unidentified culprits.
Vishwas Soy, the victim, recounted that as she refused a ride from the suspicious tempo, a male emerged, forcibly took her purse, and escaped with the accomplices.
Despite her attempts to attract attention by shouting, the culprits made a quick escape in the waiting tempo.
The stolen purse contained a mobile phone, an ATM card, and a sum of five hundred rupees, representing a significant loss for Soy.
This incident occurred amidst the dimly lit surroundings near a college hostel at around 9 pm, taking advantage of the reduced visibility.
Such incidents of theft in the vicinity of LBSM College Road have been reported before, raising alarms about recurring criminal activities in the area.
