Students honor war heroes through skits and prayers on Vijay Diwas

Tarapore School’s 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration instills pride and gratitude in students through poignant tributes to fallen soldiers.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tarapore School commemorates the silver jubilee of India’s triumph in the Kargil War with a series of moving events.

Tarapore School hosted a touching tribute to mark the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, 2024.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of a lamp, followed by students offering prayers of gratitude for the nation’s brave defenders.

A detailed presentation educated attendees about the challenges faced by Indian soldiers during the high-altitude conflict in 1999.

"The courage of our soldiers in reclaiming those strategic heights is truly inspiring," remarked one student after the informative briefing.

The Scouts and Guides group performed a powerful skit depicting scenes from the Kargil War, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Students from Standard X also showcased their talents with a performance highlighting the sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces.

The event successfully fostered a deep sense of respect and national pride among the students.

Tarapore School’s commemoration reaffirmed its dedication to honoring war heroes and nurturing patriotism in the younger generation.
