Jamshedpur Celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas with Patriotic Fervor
Social organization Lok Samarpan honors Kargil war heroes on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
The city of Jamshedpur celebrated the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with great patriotic fervor on Friday. The social organization Lok Samarpan honored war heroes who participated in ‘Operation Vijay’ and defeated the enemies.

Honoring War Heroes
Lok Samarpan President and young social worker Lalit Das, along with the organization’s members, visited the homes of war heroes.
They honored retired special driver Vinay Kumar Yadav from the 150 Artillery Field Regiment, RHM Umesh Singh Rajput from the Unit 463 of Prithvi Missile Regiment, NK Rajneesh Kumar Singh from the 150 Field Regiment, and PO Kundan Singh from the Navy.
The heroes were presented with bouquets, shawls, and mementos as a token of appreciation. Lalit Das expressed gratitude for their unforgettable contributions to the nation and Mother India.
War Memories
During the event, the brave soldiers shared their experiences and memories of the Kargil war. They mentioned that recalling the war always brings back the enthusiasm and passion from 25 years ago.
Earlier, Lalit Das paid homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war at the Shaheed Smarak located at Golmuri Police Line.
Pride and Gratitude
Lalit Das stated that honoring the Kargil warriors and meeting their families is a moment of pride for Lok Samarpan. He highlighted the extraordinary courage, valor, and strategic skills demonstrated by the Indian Army during the Kargil war.
“The bravery and heroism of our soldiers have always elevated the nation’s pride, and every Indian is proud of our armed forces,” said Das.
He emphasized that the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers to protect the nation’s borders during the Kargil war will always be remembered by the entire nation.
