Loyola School triumphs in "Storica Civilta" themed inter-school carnival
Jamshedpur’s young minds showcase creativity and knowledge in a celebration of historical civilizations at Sacred Heart Convent School.
JAMSHEDPUR – Sacred Heart Convent School recently transformed into a hub of youthful energy and academic prowess during the Link Up Carnival 2024.
The event, centered around the theme "Storica Civilta," brought together students from a dozen of the city’s top educational institutions.
Father Vinod Fernandez S.J., Loyola School’s principal, emphasized the relevance of ancient civilizations in his address as the chief guest.
"These competitions not only test skills but also foster mutual respect among students," remarked Sister M. Steffi A.C., SHCS Principal, highlighting the event’s significance.
Participants engaged in a diverse array of challenges, from Model United Nations to clay sculpting, showcasing their versatility and creativity.
The carnival featured both onstage and offstage events, providing students with multiple platforms to demonstrate their talents.
"The comic-making competition allowed us to blend historical knowledge with artistic skills," shared an enthusiastic participant from the Seeking Herge event.
After intense competition, Loyola School emerged victorious, clinching the overall championship title.
Carmel Junior College and St. Mary’s English High School secured commendable positions as first and second runners-up, respectively.
The event concluded with a lively closing ceremony, celebrating achievements and igniting anticipation for next year’s carnival.
