RJD to Contest in All Five Divisions of Jharkhand, Says Suresh Paswan

Former Minister Criticizes Nitish Government and Predicts Downfall of NDA

Former minister and senior vice president of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Suresh Paswan, announced that the party will field candidates in all five divisions of Jharkhand, with preparations already underway.

JAMSHEDPUR – Speaking to media at Jamshedpur Circuit House on Sunday, former minister Suresh Paswan revealed that RJD plans to contest in all five divisions of Jharkhand in the upcoming elections.

He stated that the party has requested election blueprints from leaders in each division.

The Jamshedpur District Committee has proposed to contest the East Assembly seat, a move the party is seriously considering.

Paswan indicated that if necessary, a candidate will be selected after discussions with allied parties.

He expressed confidence that, similar to the defeat of the NDA alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, the All India Alliance will achieve success in the assembly elections as well.

Paswan praised the current government under Hemant Soren for working in the interest of all sections of society.

Commenting on the situation in Bihar, Paswan criticized the Nitish government, claiming that Bihar has turned into a crime state under its rule.

He referred to the recent murder of former minister K. Sahni’s father, highlighting the increase in incidents of murder, looting, and robbery.

Paswan accused the Bihar government of being a mute spectator to these crimes.

Regarding the central government, Paswan described the NDA as a “government on crutches,” predicting its downfall due to emerging differences among coalition parties since its formation.

He cited the recent Uttar Pradesh name plate controversy, noting statements from JDU and Chirag Paswan as evidence of internal discord.

Senior RJD leaders including Sharda Devi, Purendra Naan Singh, Om Prakash Yadav, Subhash Yadav, Kamaldev Yadav, Baldev Singh, and Rajkumari were present at the press conference.
