JMM Worker Injured in Elephant Attack in Chakulia

In a rural area of Jamshedpur, Srinath Murmu, a JMM worker, was seriously injured in an elephant attack at Chakulia’s airstrip on Saturday night.
JAMSHEDPUR – Srinath Murmu, a JMM worker, was severely injured in an elephant attack at Chakulia’s airstrip area on Saturday night.
Pappu Ojha, a local youth, transported Murmu to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Chakulia on his bike for treatment.
Dr. Ranjit Murmu, the in-charge medical officer, began treating Murmu immediately.
According to Murmu, he was cycling to the FCI warehouse from his village when an elephant attacked him near the airstrip, throwing him to the ground.
Murmu managed to escape and hide in the bushes to save his life.
Upon hearing the news, MLA representative Vishal Barik visited the CHC to check on Murmu’s condition and spoke with the doctor to ensure he received proper treatment.
