Assam’s Chief Minister commends Jharkhand’s Water Resources Minister Champai Soren for effectively addressing public issues through social media, setting a new standard in governance.

RANCHI – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has publicly praised former Jharkhand Chief Minister and current Water Resources Minister Champai Soren for his innovative use of social media in governance.

During a press conference in Ranchi, Sarma highlighted Soren’s effective use of Twitter to address public concerns promptly.

"Minister Soren’s dedication to serving the public through social media platforms is truly commendable," Sarma stated. "His approach has even inspired changes in our governance style in Assam."

The Assam Chief Minister revealed that he had closely observed Soren’s Twitter activities after assuming party responsibilities in Jharkhand.

Sarma emphasized the importance of recognizing good work across party lines, expressing his admiration for Soren’s efforts despite never having met him personally.

"When a poor person voices a concern on Twitter, Minister Soren ensures swift action from the relevant authorities," Sarma noted. "This level of responsiveness is praiseworthy."
