AJZP Vows to Contest All 81 Assembly Seats in Upcoming Elections
AJZP kicks off two-day meeting in Jamshedpur, criticizing marginalization of tribals and vowing to fight for indigenous rights in upcoming polls.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Akhil Bharatiya Jharkhand Party (AJZP) launched its two-day central convention at Guru Gomke Auditorium on Saturday, with leaders vowing to contest all 81 assembly seats.
Former central president CR Majhi hoisted the AJZP flag to commence the convention attended by party officials from across Jharkhand.
Central President Ganesh Tudu criticized the marginalization of tribal and indigenous communities since Jharkhand’s formation 24 years ago.
"The state’s image has changed, but not the destiny of those who demanded it," Tudu stated.
He highlighted the lack of suitable development plans for the 80% agrarian population and accused companies of displacing farmers.
AJZP leaders alleged exploitation of Jharkhand by BJP, JMM and other parties, calling for "Abua Dishom Abua Raj" (Our Land, Our Rule).
The party announced plans to contest all 81 seats in upcoming assembly elections and establish a presence from cities to villages.
Notable attendees included Vice Presidents Lal Vijay Nath Shahdev, Fagu Baske, and Panchanan Soren.
