Youth Identified After Suicide Near Jugsalai Railway Over Bridge

20-year-old Prakash Mukhi of Gaurishankar Road identified as the deceased.

A tragic incident occurred on Thursday morning near the railway over bridge in the Jugsalai police station area, where a young man committed suicide by jumping in front of the Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Thursday at 11 AM, a young man committed suicide by jumping in front of the Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express near the railway over bridge in the Jugsalai police station area.

On Friday, the deceased was identified as 20-year-old Prakash Mukhi from Gaurishankar Road.

Prakash’s family identified him by a photograph of the body.

The family revealed that there had been a disagreement at home over his studies on Thursday.

Following the argument, Prakash left the house in anger and did not return that evening.

The family searched extensively but could not locate him.

They were at the police station to file a missing person report when they learned of the incident.

Currently, the body is kept in the mortuary for postmortem.
