Mucormycosis has caused 12 deaths in state so far
Ranchi: The havoc of corona infection is gradually decreasing in Jharkhand, but the fear of black fungus is also haunting people.
On Wednesday, 5 new patients of black fungus were found in the state. Out of these 2 confirmed cases have been found, one each from Godda and Ranchi.
2 suspected cases have been reported in Garhwa and 1 in Koderma. At the same time, 3 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment.
There have been a total of 91 cases of black fungus or Mucormycosis in Jharkhand. Out of these 41 are confirmed cases of Mucormycosis while 50 are still suspected cases.
So far 13 people have recovered from black fungus in Jharkhand and they have also been discharged from the hospital after treatment. 12 people have also died due to black fungus.
