Three flats in Jamshedpur’s Sakchi area were targeted by thieves, who managed to steal cash and jewelry from one of them.
JAMSHEDPUR – Three flats in Sakchi were broken into by thieves. They stole cash and jewelry from one of the flats, while the other two were not touched.
On Friday night, thieves targeted three flats in the Swarnarekha apartment complex located in Sakchi, Jamshedpur.
During the early hours, the neighbors noticed the break-ins and informed the Sakchi police.
According to the police, the burglars broke into three flats, but they only stole items from one of them.
Arvind Thakur, who lives in flat number 115, said that someone stole approximately Rs 10,000 in cash, his daughter’s piggy bank, and some jewelry.
Prakash Mahto, who lives in flat number 86, and Manoj Thakur, who lives in flat number 63, discovered that their locks had been broken. Fortunately, the thieves were unsuccessful in stealing anything from their homes.
People were inside the apartments when the incident happened, causing the thieves to run away.
The burglars are believed to have carried out the theft with great cleverness, successfully stealing jewelry worth approximately Rs 1 lakh.
