Police Arrest Key Suspect In Jamshedpur Murder Case
Ganesh Singh And Two Accomplices Caught Near Galudih On NH-33
Authorities recover weapons, ammunition, and vehicles during operation.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Police have arrested Ganesh Singh, who is believed to be the main suspect in the murder case of Ranjit Singh. He was apprehended along with two other individuals near Galudih on NH-33.
"Since the October 2022 murder, we have been carrying out extensive raids in an effort to apprehend Ganesh Singh," said SP Kaushal Kishore.
The arrest was made after receiving information about the suspects’ travel from Kolkata to Jamshedpur.
During the operation, the police were able to recover several items including a white MG Hector car, a licensed pistol, ammunition, and mobile phones.
Partners in crime Ravi Jaiswal and Aman Singh were also taken into custody in relation to different criminal activities.
"According to SP Kishore, the individuals who were arrested have admitted to being involved in various criminal activities," revealed.
Ganesh Singh had been avoiding getting caught by the police ever since the murder that took place near Sabuj Kalyan Sangh in the Telco police station area.
Aman Singh was wanted in another case that was registered at the GRP Jamshedpur Police Station.
Ravi Jaiswal is now facing more charges because he helped fugitives hide and helped them move around.
All three suspects have been taken into custody by the authorities while investigations are ongoing.
