RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren took part in Ranchi’s Rath Yatra celebrations on Sunday, accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren and one of his sons.
The CM participated in the rasbandhan ceremony and helped pull the chariot of Lord Jagannath.
Sri Vishnu Sahasranaamarchana was performed from 3 PM, with both men and women participating.
Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth and Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur were among the notable attendees.
The chariot’s ladder was removed at 5:11 PM, followed by the rasbandhan ceremony.
Hemant Soren arrived at Jagannathpur at 4:30 PM, with the worship concluding at 5:10 PM.
The CM shared details of his participation on social media platform ‘X’.
Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay and Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal also joined the Rath Yatra.
This event showcased unity among political figures from different parties in celebrating the religious festival.
