Tata Steel Hosts Successful Inter Divisional Carrom Tournament for Women

Steel Manufacturing Team Wins Tournament; OMQ and General Office Secure Runner-Up Positions

Tata Steel’s Sports Department organized a highly successful Inter Divisional Carrom Tournament for women on July 4-5 at the JFC Media Centre, JRD Tata Sports Complex.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Sports Department hosted an Inter Divisional Carrom Tournament for women on July 4-5, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 80 participants across 19 units of Tata Steel.

Chief Guest Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports Tata Steel, graced the event.

The Steel Manufacturing team emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship, while the OMQ team secured the runner-up position.

General Office claimed the second runner-up spot.

Renowned technical officials Tilak Ram, Jaswant Sahoo, and Ajay Hembram ensured fair play and adherence to the rules throughout the tournament.

Tata Steel’s dedication to promoting sports and fostering camaraderie among its workforce was evident in the event.
