Tata Steel UISL Promotes Cleanliness and Health in Kasidih

"Safai Apnao, Bimari Bhagao" Event Launched to Prevent Diseases

Tata Steel UISL’s Public Health and Sanitation Department has initiated a new program in Kasidih to promote hygiene and prevent illness.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel UISL’s Public Health and Sanitation Department has introduced the "Safai Apnao, Bimari Bhagao" campaign at Kasidih Depot. The main objective of this initiative is to promote cleanliness and prevent the spread of diseases.

The event started with a warm welcome speech given by Deepankar Pradhan, who is the Manager at Tata Steel UISL.

Christina Kachhap, who serves as the City Manager of JNAC, highlighted the importance of Swachh Survekshan in enhancing the city’s cleanliness ranking. She also provided an overview of different strategies that are being implemented.

Sanjay Tiwari, who is the Deputy Manager of Conservancy and EMC, shared some valuable information about preventing dengue.

He emphasized the significance of keeping our surroundings clean in order to effectively control the spread of the disease.

Manoj Singh Shekhawat, our esteemed guest, talked about the thorough preparations being made for the upcoming monsoon season, which includes a focus on extensive cleaning activities.

He thanked the cleaning staff, supervisors, and officers for their hard work and dedication.

The event ended with a vote of thanks from Ehtesham Hussain, who is the Manager at Tata Steel UISL.

Afterwards, the participants took part in cleaning activities at SR Flat Nala and the Old Civil Court premises.

This initiative, led by our Chief Division Manager, Manoj Singh Shekhawat, demonstrates Tata Steel UISL’s dedication to fostering a healthy and clean environment.
