Shresth Tiwari from XLRI Jamshedpur’s HRM batch of 2023-25 has won the prestigious Global Essay Competition at the 53rd St. Gallen Symposium held in Switzerland.

JAMSHEDPUR – XLRI Jamshedpur proudly congratulates Shresth Tiwari, a student from the HRM batch of 2023-25, for his remarkable achievement in winning the Global Essay Competition at the 53rd St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland.

His essay, titled "The Scarcity of Secure and Ethical Data Practices in the Metaverse Fuels Concerns About the Misuse and Erosion of Individual Rights," captivated the judges with its insightful analysis and critical perspective on data ethics in emerging virtual environments.

Recognition and Invitation

As part of his award, Tiwari was invited to attend the Symposium in Switzerland as a ‘Leader of Tomorrow,’ a recognition bestowed upon young individuals with the potential to shape the future.

The St. Gallen Symposium is a renowned global platform that brings together current and future leaders to discuss pressing issues and innovative solutions.

Acknowledging the role of his institution, Shresht Tiwari said: “At the symposium I got to meet people from around 70 different nationalities, entrepreneurs, political leaders, diplomats etc. For this experience, I would like to thank Father Kuruvila and others.”
