English Speech Contest Enhances Students’ Language Skills At Govind Vidyalaya
Junior And Senior Wings Participate In Event Focused On Improving Reading Abilities

JAMSHEDPUR – Govind Vidyalaya Tamolia hosted an English speech competition, bringing together students from both junior and senior wings to showcase and enhance their language skills.
The event aimed to encourage students to improve their reading abilities through public speaking.
"Such competitions play a crucial role in building students’ confidence and language proficiency," remarked Naushad Razia, Head of HOD, who attended the event.
Participants were judged on various criteria including pronunciation, voice flow, sound modulation, and expression.
Junior In-Charge Shabana Parveen was present to support the young participants from the junior wing.
The competition was organized under the guidance of junior wing teacher Sumbul Bano and senior wing teacher Masuma Parveen.
Associate teachers Rupam Kumar Chakraborty and Shikha Singh assisted in the smooth conduct of the event.
A panel of judges, including teachers Vivek Mishra, Dolly Kumari, Shikha Singh, and Sumbul Bano, evaluated the performances.
"We’re impressed by the level of preparation and enthusiasm shown by our students," shared one of the judging panel members.
The event saw active participation from students of various age groups, fostering a spirit of healthy competition.
This initiative aligns with Govind Vidyalaya’s commitment to promoting language skills and public speaking abilities among its students.
