Civil Surgeon Launches Doctor Recruitment Drive in Jamshedpur

District health department seeks specialists to fill critical vacancies in local polyclinics

Jamshedpur’s health sector set to receive a boost as Civil Surgeon initiates walk-in interviews for various medical specialties to address doctor shortage.

JAMSHEDPUR – Civil Surgeon Dr. Manjhi Jujhar has announced a significant recruitment drive to tackle the acute shortage of doctors in the district.

The health department is seeking specialists in medicine, gynecology, ophthalmology, and dermatology to strengthen medical services at local polyclinics.

"We’re conducting walk-in interviews on July 1 at 2 pm in the Civil Surgeon Office Auditorium," Dr. Manjhi stated, highlighting the urgency of the recruitment process.

Candidates up to 70 years of age are eligible to apply for these positions.

Selected doctors will receive a daily honorarium of Rs. 3500 for their services.

"Continuous recruitment efforts are crucial to maintain adequate healthcare provision across our district," Dr. Manjhi emphasized.

This initiative aims to improve access to specialized medical care for Jamshedpur residents.

The recruitment drive is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of district polyclinics.

Local medical professionals have welcomed this move, seeing it as a step towards better healthcare infrastructure.

The health department anticipates a strong response from qualified candidates, given the attractive compensation and the opportunity to serve the community.
