Security Forces Eliminate Four Naxalites in West Singhbhum Encounter

Zonal Commander, Area Commander, and Female Naxalite Among Those Killed

In a major operation, security forces engaged in a fierce encounter with Naxalites in the forest of the Naxal-affected Gua police station area in West Singhbhum district on Monday morning, resulting in the killing of four Naxalites, including a female Naxalite.

CHAIBASA – The security forces have dealt a significant blow to the Naxalite movement in the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, as they successfully eliminated four Naxalites, including high-ranking commanders, in an encounter that took place on Monday morning.

The encounter unfolded in the dense forest of the Naxal-affected Gua police station area, where the security forces engaged in a fierce gunfight with the Naxalites.

Among the Naxalites killed in the operation were a zonal commander, an area commander, a sub-zonal commander, and a female Naxalite, underlining the significance of the operation.

In addition to the four Naxalites killed, the security forces also managed to apprehend two Naxalites, including an area commander and a female Naxalite, during the encounter.

Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar has confirmed the incident, and the security forces are currently conducting a thorough search operation in the area to locate any remaining Naxalites or their hideouts.
