Sunny Oraon Praises Chhau Dance Artists and Promises Support
Sunny Oraon, the President of Dishom Guruji Ashirwad Yojana, along with Chakradharpur Block Pramukh Jyoti Sijui, Mukhiyas of various Panchayats, and MLA representatives, graced the Rojo festival celebrations at Ghagra Ghat, Chandri Padampur village.
CHAKRADHARPUR – The Rojo festival celebrations at Ghagra Ghat in Chandri Padampur village witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Sunny Oraon, the President of Dishom Guruji Ashirwad Yojana, Chakradharpur Block Pramukh Jyoti Sijui, Mukhiyas of various Panchayats, and MLA representatives.
Sunny Oraon extended his wishes to the local people and artists on the occasion of the Rojo festival and expressed his gratitude to the Chhau Dance Organizing Committee for successfully arranging the event.
While praising the artists, Oraon assured them of every possible support and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their performances.
He emphasized the unique identity of Jharkhand’s art and culture, which is celebrated not only in the country but also internationally, with people from abroad visiting Sakela Kharsawan district to learn Chhau from renowned gurus.
The organizing committee warmly welcomed all the guests, including Sunny Oraon, while MLA representative Piru Hembram and Panchayat representatives also reached Jomro village to express their appreciation for the committee’s efforts.
The event was attended by notable figures such as Mukhiya Somnath Koya, 20-point Bandgaon Block President Do Joko, JMM leader Pradeep Mahato, and Tinku Pradhan, among others.
The Rojo festival celebrations showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region, with Chhau dance performances taking center stage, and the presence of dignitaries added to the grandeur of the occasion.
