Jamshedpur: Police Arrest Two in Kitadih Land Dispute Case

Retired Sub-Inspector Kanhaiya Yadav and Ajay Yadav were arrested in a Kitadih land dispute, while four others’ bail was denied.
JAMSHEDPUR – The police apprehended Kanhaiya Yadav and Ajay Yadav in a Kitadih land dispute case, rejecting the bail of four others.
On Thursday, the Jamshedpur court rejected the bail applications of four individuals implicated in the Kitadih land dispute case.
These individuals were involved in an altercation with the police during a land encroachment incident.
On May 22, the Parsudih police received information about illegal construction on the disputed land during the Lok Sabha elections.
When the police arrived, the family members involved in the dispute surrounded them, resulting in a scuffle.
A female constable sustained a hand injury during the confrontation.
Kanhaiya Yadav and Ajay Yadav, who were absconding, were arrested on Friday and sent to jail.
The incident escalated when encroachers threatened to go to any extent over the land.
The case, registered at Parsudih police station, includes charges under IPC sections 353, 354, and 307, among others.
DSP and the police station in-charge also responded to the scene while conducting a flag march.
Accused individuals include Ashok Yadav, Raju Yadav, Ajay Yadav, Lilavati Devi, and Jagnarayan Yadav.
In addition to these names, four more individuals have been identified during the investigation.
Police are actively conducting raids to apprehend the remaining suspects.
