OBC Front’s Grassroots Campaign Boosts NDA’s Success in Jharkhand

Amardeep Yadav Leads Effective Outreach Efforts Across the State

The OBC Front’s grassroots campaign, led by Amardeep Yadav, played a crucial role in the NDA’s success in Jharkhand’s Lok Sabha constituencies, highlighting the impact of targeted outreach.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Other Backward Classes (OBC) Front significantly contributed to the NDA’s victories in nine Lok Sabha constituencies in Jharkhand and improved performance in five more.

Amardeep Yadav, the State President of the BJP Backward Caste Front, spearheaded an extensive campaign over the past two months, which involved mobilizing state, district, and divisional workers to connect with voters across all 81 assembly constituencies.

The outreach included a range of activities such as social gatherings, youth forums, neighborhood meetings, door-to-door leaflet distribution, hostel engagement, and press briefings.

Social media played a key role in spreading awareness about the Modi government’s initiatives for backward classes, emphasizing educational reservations and benefits over the past decade.

Guided by BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr. K Laxman, Jharkhand BJP State President Babulal Marandi, and State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, the OBC Morcha organized its efforts into small teams to effectively communicate party policies and government schemes.

These groups reached over 18,000 villages through large conferences and intimate local meetings.

Amardeep Yadav personally visited 11 out of 14 Lok Sabha constituencies and 53 out of 81 assembly constituencies in a span of 90 days, participating in various programs and meetings.

Supported by state vice-president Ishwar Chandra Prajapati, state general secretary Hardhar Narayan Shah, Chaudhary Mahato, state minister Ajay Sharma, and others, Yadav’s team effectively conveyed Narendra Modi’s vision and public welfare schemes to the populace.

A political analyst observed, "The OBC Front’s strategic grassroots efforts were key in strengthening the NDA’s foothold in Jharkhand, demonstrating the power of focused political campaigning."
