Drain Water Inundates Homes in Naya Basti, North Bagbera Panchayat
District Councilor Dr. Kavita Parmar Addresses Concerns, Initiates Cleanup Efforts
Hundreds of houses in the Naya Basti area of Northern Bagbera Panchayat in the Bagbera region were flooded with drain water, causing a halt in movement and daily activities.
JAMSHEDPUR – Residents of Naya Basti in the Northern Baghbeda Panchayat faced a severe crisis as drain water entered hundreds of homes, disrupting their daily lives and causing widespread inconvenience.
Upon learning about the situation, District Councilor Dr. Kavita Parmar promptly visited the affected area to assess the problem firsthand.
After witnessing the plight of the residents, Dr. Parmar immediately contacted the Circle Officer and Special Officer of Jugsalai to discuss the urgent need for cleaning the sluice gate of the drain.
As a result of her intervention, the cleaning work is set to commence from tomorrow morning.
The villagers expressed their demand for the complete opening of the gate, which Dr. Parmar assured would be resolved through discussions with senior officers.
Fallen Electricity Poles and Trees Cause Damage
In another incident, several electricity poles fell on houses in the Gandhinagar branch ground of North Eastern Bagh Bada Panchayat.
Additionally, a large tree collapsed on the house of Shiv Pujan ji, resulting in significant damage.
Councilor Dr. Kavita Parmar, upon reaching the spot, engaged in discussions with the executive officer of the electricity department and requested an immediate solution to the problem.
"The fallen electricity poles and trees have caused immense distress to the residents," said a concerned local. "We are grateful to Dr. Parmar for her swift action and hope for a speedy resolution."
Collaborative Efforts for Resolution
Dr. Parmar brought the issue to the attention of DDC Manish Ranjan Kumar and sought the assistance of the electricity department and forest department in finding a solution.
DDC Manish Kumar promptly informed forest officer Mamta Kumari and the electricity department about the matter, directing them to take necessary action.
The villagers expressed their anger and frustration over the incidents at both locations.
However, the timely presence and intervention of their public representative, Dr. Kavita Parmar, instilled confidence among the residents that their concerns would be addressed effectively.
"Dr. Parmar’s proactive approach and her ability to coordinate with various departments have given us hope that our problems will be resolved soon," remarked a relieved local from Naya Basti.
As the cleanup efforts in Naya Basti are set to begin and the electricity and forest departments work towards resolving the issues caused by fallen poles and trees, the residents of Northern Bagbera Panchayat look forward to a swift return to normalcy in their daily lives.
