JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Ananya Mittal launched a unique voter awareness campaign featuring a sky balloon at the Collectorate roundabout near Jubilee Park’s main entrance.
The balloon is part of the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) program.
Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and the Sweep Cell team were present at the unveiling.
They aimed to inform residents of the 09-Jamshedpur Parliamentary Constituency about the upcoming election date.
The balloon is a visual reminder encouraging voter participation on May 25.
Manish Kumar highlighted the importance of each vote in strengthening democracy.
He urged citizens to bring their families and neighbors to the polling booths.
