First Voter Casts Postal Ballot as Electoral Process Commences in Jamshedpur

JAMSHEDPUR – The electoral process has officially commenced with the casting of the first postal ballot at the polling station established within the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) office premises.
Ananya Mittal, the District Election Officer, along with Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and other officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the polling station.
The first voter was presented with flowers as a token of appreciation for their participation in the democratic process.
Mittal provided necessary instructions to election personnel to ensure the integrity and fairness of the electoral proceedings.
Project Director of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (PD ITDA) Dipankar Chaudhary was also present during the inspection.
The presence of esteemed officials highlights the administration’s commitment to upholding democratic values and principles.
Voters of districts falling under the fourth phase Lok Sabha Parliamentary area are exercising their franchise at the postal ballot polling center.
The polling center, set up at the SDO office in Dhalbhum, will remain open for voting from 9 am onwards.
The electoral drive, which began with the casting of the first postal ballot, will continue until May 10, providing sufficient time for eligible voters to participate.
The administration remains dedicated to ensuring a conducive environment for voters to exercise their right to vote freely and without any hindrance or coercion.
