Singhbhum Chamber’s Recent Collaborative Efforts with TMH Discussed, Suggestions Made to Improve Patient Care
The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tata Main Hospital leaders discuss medical services enhancement in Jamshedpur, covering patient care improvements and future medical facilities.
JAMSHEDPUR – An interactive meeting at the Chamber Bhawan facilitated by the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry included prominent medical professionals from Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur.
The event, attended by Dr. Sudhir Rai, General Manager, and his team, aimed to enhance healthcare services in the region.
The meeting brought together heads of various departments from TMH, including Dr. Vinita Singh, Dr. Mama Rath Dutta, and Dr. Ashok Sundar, among others, who were instrumental in discussing current medical practices and future improvements.
Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonaka lauded the continuous improvements made by TMH, mentioning the recent launch of an e-shuttle service, a suggestion implemented by the hospital following recommendations from the Chamber.

During the meeting, Dr. Rai showcased a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the medical treatments and facilities available at Tata Main Hospital.
He highlighted the extensive services provided by the hospital, which boasts 983 beds, over 450 doctors, and annually advises over 1.6 million patients in its Outpatient Department (OPD).
"TMH is committed to continuous improvement and expansion of our services to better serve the community," stated Dr. Rai.
The discussion also covered future achievements and reforms planned by the hospital.
Chamber’s Constructive Suggestions
The Chamber provided several suggestions to improve patient experiences further.
These included simplifying the navigation of TMH’s Vishwas app and introducing more accessible payment options throughout the hospital premises.
Suggestions also focused on enhancing services for senior citizens and ensuring the availability of specialist doctors in local dispensaries.
